DEADLINE EXTENDED- FEB 28th 2022

Our work is political, provocative and participant led.

What we're looking for

New board members to guide and support us in creating cultural experiences that meet this mission. We want people from a wide variety of backgrounds because we find the voice of the majority pretty boring.

You don’t need to come from an arts background, we’re looking for people who share our vision.

While joining a board is a big voluntary commitment, we want to ensure our board members enjoy working with us and get as much out of it as they put in.

We put the highest priority on care for those that work with us.

I first saw Scottee perform more than 15 years ago at Duckie and was transfixed, terrified - and hooked. Scottee & Friends may have come a long way from those early club appearances but the principles remain the same: a commitment to fat, queer and working-class voices and an ability to be both provocative and loving. I jumped at the chance to join the board because I believe Scottee & Friends does vital work raising difficult questions about contemporary life and supporting queer and marginalised communities.

- Debbie Kilbride (current board member)
